Craving

One of the saddest things about having to actually pick a major in college was the fact that I could no longer fit in all of the extraneous courses that I loved. Slowly but surely, they were whittled out of my schedule.

I was saddest when I finally had to stop taking my music classes. I didn't major in music because it wasn't "practical" for me. But, music is still one of my greatest loves. I must admit, I'm saddened by the fact that I do not own a piano or a cello. I don't even have access to a cello anymore.

In the last few weeks, I've had several encounters with cellos and it's started a terrible hankering. I don't know why the deep, resonant voice of the cello resonates with me like it does, but I'm left in a mouth-watering stupor. Maybe again someday . . .

  1. I have to say I'm quite glad that I bought a tuba. It's been quite fun.
